Meet Makenzie Bramwell, Au.D.

Makenzie Bramwell earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Arkansas and her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Utah in 2025.

Her training included diverse clinical experiences at the University of Utah Hospital ENT Clinic, the Salt Lake City V.A., Intermountain Cottonwood Audiology, and Audiology Associates of Holladay. During her fourth-year externship at Intermountain Cottonwood Audiology, she gained advanced experience in diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, vestibular testing, and intraoperative monitoring.

Makenzie developed a strong interest in vestibular audiology, completing nine months of specialized training. Her capstone research focused on evidence-based testing protocols for patients with single-sided deafness who receive cochlear implants, contributing to ongoing research in binaural hearing outcomes.

Makenzie takes pride in helping patients achieve their hearing goals and believes that trust, education, and open communication are essential to successful outcomes. Patients often describe her as confident, approachable, and genuinely invested in their well-being. She strives to create an environment where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their hearing health.

Passionate about expanding access to hearing care, Makenzie has provided audiology services in rural Utah and participated in clinical outreach trips to Oaxaca, Mexico, offering pediatric and adult hearing evaluations alongside local clinicians.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Makenzie values clear communication and patient education. She is known for her compassionate care and dedication to evidence-based, individualized treatment that improves quality of life for every patient she serves.

Outside the office, she enjoys caring for her plants, walking her senior dog, attending concerts, and exploring the outdoors.
