Meet Fares Romero

Fares Romero, our Audiology Assistant, was born and raised in Alamosa, CO. His passion for audiology was sparked by witnessing a family member’s life transformed by a cochlear implant. A pivotal moment in Fares’ career occurred when he was supporting his wife, Chelsie, in co-founding High Desert Hearing Center. Through assisting her and the team, Fares discovered his own passion for helping patients reconnect with their loved ones and enjoy meaningful moments through improved hearing. Hearing patients’ stories about the profound effects of hearing loss on their lives solidified his commitment to this field.

Fares has a diverse background in customer service, painting contracting, and welding, and is currently pursuing his hearing instrument license. He is committed to continuous learning and enjoys working with people of all ages. Fares thrives in HDHC’s collaborative environment and is always eager to assist and learn.

In his free time, Fares enjoys sports and outdoor activities with his family, such as golfing, fishing, and spending time at the lake. These activities bring him joy and relaxation.
