At High Desert Hearing we provide the most patient-centered hearing care that will help you to a better quality of life. We are a women-owned business and proud to have you as our patient.

We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Chelsie Hensley

Owner & Audiologist

Dr. Chelsie Hensley grew up in Southern Colorado and has practiced as an audiologist throughout Western Colorado and Eastern Utah since graduating with her Doctorate of Audiology, from the University of Northern Colorado, in 2017.

Terry Jacobson

Owner & Managing Partner

As a Grand Junction native, Terry has had the opportunity to work in a managerial capacity for various local firms within the manufacturing and hearing healthcare industry for over 20 years.

Jessica Cribari

Audiology Technician

Jessica is our Certified Audiology Technician. She is responsible for cleaning, updating, and performing repairs on hearing instruments. Jessica has worked as a hearing instrument technician since 2018.

Sarah Kidd

Audiologist

Dr. Sarah Kidd, originally from Wichita, Kansas, earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Wichita State University. New to Grand Junction in 2024, Dr. Kidd is eager to bring her expertise to the community and make a positive impact.

Fares Romero

Audiology Assistant

Fares Romero, our Audiology Assistant, was born and raised in Alamosa, CO. His passion for audiology was sparked by witnessing a family member's life transformed by a cochlear implant. A pivotal moment in Fares' career occurred when he was supporting his wife, Chelsie, in co-founding High Desert Hearing Center.

Sierra Tibbetts

Audiology Extern

Sierra Tibbetts is an audiology student from Western Washington University, eagerly working towards her Doctorate in Audiology. Her dedication to audiology is rooted in her desire to make a significant difference in the lives of those with hearing loss.

Janet Stevens

Administrative Assistant

Janet has been a trusted contractor for High Desert Hearing Center for several years, focusing on bookkeeping, payroll, and various compliance responsibilities. Her attention to detail and experience makes her a valuable addition to our team in this new capacity.
