Janet Stevens

Dr. Chelsie Hensley grew up in Southern Colorado and has practiced as an audiologist throughout Western Colorado and Eastern Utah since graduating with her Doctorate of Audiology, from the University of Northern Colorado, in 2017.

As a Grand Junction native, Terry has had the opportunity to work in a managerial capacity for various local firms within the manufacturing and hearing healthcare industry for over 20 years.

Heather brings more than 20 years of audiology experience to High Desert Hearing Center, with a career that has taken her across hospitals, private practices, the U.S. Army, and even into Arizona’s mining industry. She earned her graduate degree in Audiology from the University of Arizona and has since dedicated her career to improving lives through better hearing.

Jessica is our Certified Audiology Technician. She is responsible for cleaning, updating, and performing repairs on hearing instruments. Jessica has worked as a hearing instrument technician since 2018.

Fares Romero, our Audiology Assistant, was born and raised in Alamosa, CO. His passion for audiology was sparked by witnessing a family member's life transformed by a cochlear implant. A pivotal moment in Fares' career occurred when he was supporting his wife, Chelsie, in co-founding High Desert Hearing Center.

Janet has been a trusted contractor for High Desert Hearing Center for several years, focusing on bookkeeping, payroll, and various compliance responsibilities. Her attention to detail and experience makes her a valuable addition to our team.

Originally from Connecticut, Nicole moved to Colorado in 2022 to begin a new chapter both personally and professionally. She brings three years of experience in dental front office administration, where she discovered her passion for patient care and building strong relationships.
